Bongo Rewilding
Bongo Rewilding is an ongoing storytelling project documenting the restoration of the critically endangered mountain bongo in Kenya’s highland forests. Working alongside Mount Kenya Wildlife Conservancy, the project captures the efforts to breed, rehabilitate, and return this rare antelope to its natural habitat around Mount Kenya. Through photography, the series highlights the science, dedication, and hope behind one of Africa’s most important wildlife recovery programs giving the mountain bongo a second chance in the wild.
